Over the past weeks we have been using a software called photoshop. It is my first time actually doing a first hand experience with photoshop. We were working on an assignment named “Layering a Sandwich” which I did have trouble with but had a nice wave of pride when I finished and completed it. I would say Photoshop is complicated and out of my league though I would use it if I would want to edit certain pictures. Throughout the Layering Sandwich Project the steps were a little troublesome and difficult, especially the part where I had masked the items and know the controls. Though in the Workplace Manipulation I had a little breakdown with coloring in the background. I thought we could have just used like a fill bucket to finish the background. Most of the tools we are using right now are simple and easy for the rest of the part except the section where we had to resize the canvas, even our teacher had to do it at least twice to fix it. The problem to that is that it had this button on that I did not notice. I still need to finish it and learn how to highlight the object Im supposed to but im pretty sure Ill get it accomplished in no time and proceed to the part where I have to insert a picture of me. Overall Photoshop can have its own flaws and its pros. I would recommend using it if your in a design class, a photography class or a art class.
